Inauguration of the Nozza Parish Young Center: a new space for the community
On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the official inauguration of the parish young center in Nozza (Vestone), one of the most populus municipalities in Vallesabbia, where Silmar Group companies operate, took place, following a significant renovation project. This long-awaited and meaningful initiative has returned to the community a renewed, safe, and welcoming space, designed for the gathering and development of younger generations.
The works, made possible thanks to a contribution of over €500,000, were supported by the Silvestro and Margherita Niboli Fund, under the Fondital and Raffmetal sections, once again demonstrating their concrete commitment to the Valsabbia area.
THE PROJECT COVERED SEVERAL STRATEGIC AREAS OF THE PARISH YOUNG CENTER:
- Enclosed parking lot facing the street with 24 parking spaces;
- Fenced multi-purpose sports field, usable for soccer, basketball, and volleyball, with synthetic grass on the sides;
- Renovated playground area, equipped with shock-absorbing flooring and new furnishings;
- Pedestrian paths, perimeter safety nets, and complete resurfacing of the outdoor areas;
- Preparations for a future locker room building;
- Expanded kitchen area and renovated electrical system.
The inauguration was held in a festive atmosphere: the afternoon featured games for children and moments of social gathering. At 6:00 p.m., a Holy Mass was celebrated at the parish young center, followed by the unveiling and blessing of a commemorative plaque dedicated to the Silvestro and Margherita Niboli Fund.
The completion of this project is a clear example of social responsibility by the companies of the Silmar Group, who through this initiative aimed to strengthen their bond with the local territory.
Valsabbia, in fact, is the birthplace and development site of the entrepreneurial story of the Niboli Family, deeply rooted in the values of the community.
“The value of a business is measured not only by its economic results, but also by what it gives back to the land that welcomed, inspired, and helped it grow.” “The renovation of the Nozza oratory was carried out so that the area can continue to be a place of meeting and growth. Donating a project like this means building bonds, bridges between generations, and being an active part of a territory that wants to build stronger community ties.”
