Silmar Group 2025 financial statements
Against a complex economic and geopolitical backdrop marked by international instability, rising energy and procurement costs, and growing competitive pressure across European markets, Silmar Group closed 2025 with positive results in line with expectations, confirming the strength of its business model and its ability to navigate a constantly evolving market.
The Group recorded aggregate revenue of €1.46 billion and invested more than €69 million, continuing along its path of industrial growth. Efficiency and self-generated energy, safety, quality, carbon-footprint reduction, and product and process innovation remain at the heart of the Group’s strategy, together with the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and the “Dual Transition”, which combines the green and digital transitions.
The ESG journey launched more than fifteen years ago also continued. The Group’s Italian companies met 54% of their electricity requirements from renewable sources, including approximately 15,000 MWh generated by photovoltaic systems. When energy-efficiency measures are also taken into account, coverage through renewable sources and sustainable solutions reaches 70%, helping to prevent the emission of 29,677 metric tons of CO₂.
People remain a key priority. During the year, 71,399 hours of training were provided, with an ongoing commitment to workplace safety and prevention, alongside educational, sporting, cultural, and social initiatives supporting local communities.
Governance continues to be founded on ethics, integrity, and transparency through Legislative Decree 231 organizational models, Codes of Ethics, and whistleblowing systems.
The Group’s companies continued to develop in line with their respective target markets:
Fondital continued to evolve its offering for the plumbing, heating, and sanitary systems sector, developing increasingly efficient and sustainable solutions and expanding its product environmental-impact assessment activities through life-cycle assessments (LCAs). At the same time, it continued its development in the automotive sector, with a particular focus on structural castings.
Raffmetal consolidated its position in the production of high-performance recycled aluminium alloys, expanding its product range and strengthening technical support for customers. It also continued its commitment to progressively reducing the carbon footprint of its products.
Valsir confirmed its strong position in the plumbing, heating, and sanitary systems sector, continuing to develop quality-, efficiency-, and sustainability-driven solutions for the building and systems-engineering industries. It also introduced a new artificial intelligence–integrated Energy Management platform. During the year, the new Prevalle production facility was launched to support the expansion of the Recycling Division.
OLI strengthened its progress towards sustainability, energy efficiency, and a circular economy. One of the main innovations introduced in 2025 was OLI70, the first concealed cistern made from regenerated plastic.
Marvon continued its research and development activities aimed at improving quality and creating new products. Its commitment to occupational health and safety and employee training also remained a key priority.
Alba confirmed its ability to acquire new customers and the strength of its commercial positioning, even against a backdrop of slowing global demand.
“ Silmar Group continues to achieve sustainable and resilient growth focused on creating long-term value. We will continue to invest in research and development, technology, process decarbonisation, and digitalisation. At the same time, we will support the Group’s evolution by continuously strengthening the skills of our people, who are our most valuable asset and a strategic driver in addressing future challenges.”
